Community Festivals, Social Events, and Other Celebrations

SGCDC sponsors an annual Community Festival and "Reunion in the Original Barrio", at the Roberto Clemente Playground, with Latino music and dance, children's attractions, cultural food, and information and display tables. The event celebrates Spring Garden's 100+ year Latino heritage, reunites former Latino residents of the community, and provides a fun, festive family-friendly experience for neighborhood families and their children. 

SGCDC also  sponsors other events to bring together members of the community in enjoyable and collegial activities, including visits from Santa and other activities for children, tree plantings and cleanups, other community improvement days, and social events.
